As a matter of fact there are only 50 meters between the hostel and the beach.
Can you walk to the next Supermarket?
Yes,- it will take you 5 minutes by foot or 1 minute by car.
What is there to do in 1770 and Agnes Water?
Agnes Water and Town of 1770 is well known for it's pristine natural beauty and the very short distance to Lady Musgrave Island and the Great Barrier Reef. Apart from a variety of local tours and activities in and around Town there are daily Tours to the remote costal areas south and north and of course out to the Great Barrier Reef. Is the hostel safe and secure?
At our hostel, we do have locks on main doors and room doors and lockers to secure your possessions and staff are always on hand to ensure EVERYONE enjoys their stay, safely.
Are you family friendly?
Beachside Backpacker 1770 is an ideal place for families.
Are you pet friendly?
Unfortunately, due to the diversity of travellers we have staying with us, we simply cannot allow pets into our facilities due to health regulations. We do love them though! "sniff".
How do I do my laundry?
We have washing machines and dryers for your use. Also laundry powder is available to buy.
Can I park my car close to the rooms?
Yes,- there is a large car park right in front of our hostel.
